Dear Friends and Family, I’m excited for a new year of music-making. My upcoming engagements include chamber music and solo recitals in Cleveland, OH and two tours in South Africa. I’m particularly excited to be playing a solo recital and a concerto performance at the US Woordfees in Stellenbosch in March. The latter will have updates regarding discounted Woordfees tickets for Matie alumni and a few snippets of the Lyapunov etudes I’m preparing for solo recitals. I also look forward to various solo and collaborative performances throughout South Africa in June, July, and early August. In the meantime, I’m preparing for concerts in wintry Cleveland. Below is a picture of snow falling outside the Mixon recital hall during one of my rehearsals. Tomorrow I start my fourth semester of doctoral study at CIM!
